As someone who currently has no adult children, I feel confident about my future as I age into my "golden years"; having assisted my own parents who are still fairly healthy, but living well into their late 90s, I personally know how important it is to have a long-term care plan in place BEFORE something catastrophic, incapacitating, or inevitable happens to your loved one; if one is fortunate enough to experience longevity, purchasing this kind of protection equals an intelligent and pre-emptive investment in self-care; I doubt that I will regret doing this now, while I am fairly young.
